The simulated wound is designed for realistic first aid, tactical medicine, and trauma management training. It accurately replicates a large exit gunshot wound measuring approximately 7 × 7 cm, allowing trainees to practise in an environment that closely resembles real clinical or tactical situations.
The simulation is ready to use straight from the package, requiring no additional adhesive, special effects make-up, or other attachment materials. Its self-adhesive backing allows the wound to be applied directly to a casualty actor’s skin and, when required, removed and transferred to another casualty actor without additional preparation. This is particularly convenient for practical exercises involving multiple scenarios or several casualty actors.
The simulated wound is designed for repeated use. If it becomes contaminated, it can be washed with warm soapy water. Once properly cleaned, the self-adhesive backing regains its adhesive properties.
