Description

PneumoDart is a needle designed for chest decompression, featuring an integrated safety mechanism. Unlike conventional decompression needles, PneumoDart uses a Veress-type tip that automatically becomes blunt after penetrating the chest wall and entering the thoracic cavity. This mechanism helps reduce the risk of injury to the lungs and other internal structures during decompression.
The 14G needle measures 3.25 inches (approximately 8.3 cm) in length and meets CoTCCC recommendations. An integrated Luer-lock connection allows additional equipment to be attached and, when required, enables active removal of accumulated air or blood from the thoracic cavity.
With its purpose-built design, safety mechanism, and technical features intended for professional use, PneumoDart is designed for emergency, tactical, and military medical professionals performing chest decompression in critical situations.

The PneumoDart has a Veress safety tip that reduces the risk of organ puncture.
