FoxSeal occlusive chest seal is designed to provide an airtight seal for penetrating chest wounds up to 15 cm in length. The dressing is designed for rapid and reliable application in challenging conditions where every action matters.
The resealable adhesive surface allows the seal to be temporarily lifted when necessary, for example to release air trapped beneath it if the casualty’s condition deteriorates, and then reapplied. Convenient lifting tabs make the seal easier to grip and handle, including when wearing gloves.
According to the manufacturer, the adhesive maintains its bonding properties across a wide temperature range, from −18 °C to +55 °C, and adheres reliably even to wet or hairy skin. The compact packaging features four tear notches, allowing it to be opened quickly from different sides.
These features make FoxSeal a practical solution for penetrating chest injuries and suitable for professional emergency, tactical, and prehospital care kits.
