Description

Non-hemostatic wound packing gauze is designed for packing deep wounds using the wound packing technique. It is used to pack the wound before applying direct pressure or a pressure dressing to help control bleeding.

This gauze does not contain hemostatic agents such as chitosan or kaolin; therefore, it does not promote blood clotting and is not intended to be used as a standalone method for controlling life-threatening bleeding. However, when used correctly in combination with direct pressure, it can be an effective bleeding control measure in situations where hemostatic gauze is not required or is unavailable.

Due to its attractive price-to-functionality ratio, this packing gauze is an excellent choice for first aid kits, training centers, simulation training, and organizations that regularly conduct bleeding control drills.
