Description

Knowing your blood type is important not only in medical settings. This information can also be useful when preparing for military service, travelling for extended periods, participating in training exercises, or assembling a personal first aid kit.
The EldonCard blood typing kit is designed to determine ABO blood group and RhD factor using a small blood sample obtained from a fingertip. The special test card contains pre-applied dried reagents that, when used according to the manufacturer’s instructions, allow the agglutination reaction to be assessed and the blood group to be determined.
One practical advantage of EldonCard is that the test result can be preserved directly on the card, allowing it to serve as a personal reference record. Its compact format makes it convenient for individual preparedness, training, and other situations where knowing your ABO and RhD blood type in advance may be useful.
Important: the result of a self-administered test is for informational purposes and should not be considered a substitute for official laboratory blood typing. For blood transfusions or other medical procedures, blood type must be determined and confirmed in accordance with the requirements of the relevant healthcare institution.

Can the result be used for medical decisions?
No – blood group is always re-tested in a laboratory before transfusion.
