Description

The SICH tourniquet is a bleeding control device developed and manufactured in Ukraine for the management of life-threatening extremity bleeding. Since 2016, it has been included in individual first aid kits used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has been deployed in demanding field and tactical medical environments.
The tourniquet strap is made from highly durable PVC fabric resistant to intensive use and adverse environmental conditions, while the securing components are manufactured from lightweight and durable duralumin. Its construction is designed to remain functional even when wet or contaminated with blood or dirt, as well as in low or high ambient temperatures.
The SICH tourniquet can be applied with one hand, allowing it to be used for self-application when necessary. Its robust construction and suitability for demanding environments make it appropriate for military, tactical medicine, emergency medical, and other settings where rapid and effective control of life-threatening extremity bleeding is required.
