The blue SICH tourniquet is a mechanical bleeding control device designed to control life-threatening extremity haemorrhage. Its construction corresponds to the technical specifications of the standard SICH model: it weighs 105 g, has an overall length of at least 93 cm, and features a highly durable PVC strap with duralumin fastening components.
The tourniquet is suitable for limbs with a diameter of 5–40 cm, allowing it to be applied at different locations on an extremity depending on the type of injury and bleeding site.
