Description

One of the main factors that can limit the effectiveness of vented chest seals is blockage of the ventilation openings by blood or blood clots. FoxSeal Vented is designed to reduce this risk and help maintain ventilation even under challenging conditions.
Instead of relying on one or several individual valves, the chest seal incorporates a 360° Hyper-Vent system consisting of 24 valves and 512 ventilation pathways. This design provides multiple alternative routes for air to escape: even if some ventilation pathways become blocked by blood or clots, the remaining pathways can continue to function.
The one-way ventilation system allows air to escape from the chest area while limiting air from entering through the seal from the outside. This design makes FoxSeal Vented suitable for sealing open chest wounds in situations where reliable chest seal performance can be critical.
