Description

The simulated wound is designed for realistic first aid, trauma management, and medical simulation training. It replicates a moderate electrical burn and is ready to use straight from the package, requiring no additional adhesive, make-up, or other attachment materials.
The self-adhesive wound simulation is applied directly to a casualty actor’s skin, allowing it to be quickly incorporated into a variety of training scenarios. According to the manufacturer, the simulation can be removed from one casualty actor and transferred to another without additional preparation, making it suitable for repeated use.
If the adhesive surface becomes contaminated during use and adhesion is reduced, the wound simulation can be washed with warm soapy water. Once cleaned, the self-adhesive backing regains its adhesive properties.
This allows the same wound simulation to be used across different training scenarios and enables trainees to practise appropriate procedures for managing electrical burn injuries.
