HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack is a professional two-pack of vented chest seals designed for penetrating chest injuries and the management of open pneumothorax risk. The two individually packaged seals can be used to cover entry and exit wounds or multiple penetrating chest wounds.
Each seal features a patented three-channel venting system designed to limit air from entering the chest cavity through the wound while allowing air and blood to escape. Venting functionality is maintained even if two of the three channels become obstructed. The advanced adhesive provides reliable adhesion even to sweaty or hairy skin, while the transparent backing helps ensure accurate placement over the wound.
The large red pull tab allows for quick preparation and application of the seal. Both seals are supplied in separate, durable Red Tip Technology® foil packages, allowing one seal to be opened while the other remains intact until needed. The compact Twin Pack is suitable for IFAKs, medical bags, and professional emergency and tactical medical kits.
