Description

Water evacuation places additional demands on rescue equipment: a stretcher must not only securely support the casualty but also provide sufficient buoyancy in the water. Xtract SR Afloat is a buoyancy accessory specifically designed for the Xtract SR stretcher system, helping keep the stretcher and casualty afloat and facilitating safer transport in aquatic environments.
This solution is intended for situations where evacuation takes place at sea, in rivers, flooded areas, or other challenging environments where the functionality of a conventional stretcher may be insufficient.
Xtract SR Afloat can be used by rescue services, specialised search and rescue teams, and military units during operations involving water crossings and casualty evacuation.
When integrated with the Xtract SR system, the buoyancy accessory extends the stretcher’s capabilities, allowing the same evacuation system to be adapted to different operational environments, from land to water.
