Description

A finger injury is usually not immediately life-threatening, but proper immobilisation of the injured finger is important to protect the affected area and prevent unnecessary movement during transport or while awaiting medical care.
The SAM Finger Splint is based on the same design principle as larger SAM splints, combining a flexible aluminium core with a soft foam layer, but in a compact size specifically designed for finger immobilisation. The splint can be easily shaped to fit the anatomy of the finger and the required position and can be reshaped if necessary.
Its compact design takes up minimal space in a first aid kit, making it suitable for healthcare and emergency medical professionals as well as first aid kits intended for workplaces, travel, sports, and outdoor activities.

Can it be reshaped?

Must it be removed before an X-ray?
No, the material is radiolucent.
