Description

Insertion of a nasopharyngeal airway without lubricant can cause discomfort and pain and may increase the risk of damage to the nasal mucosa. The single-use 5 g lubricant sachet is designed to facilitate insertion of a nasopharyngeal airway by reducing friction between the medical device and the mucous membrane.
Its water-based formulation is suitable for use with medical devices, while the single-use packaging provides the amount of lubricant required for one procedure and supports hygienic application.
The compact sachet takes up minimal space and can be conveniently stored together with a nasopharyngeal airway in an individual first aid kit, IFAK, tactical kit, or emergency medical kit. It is a practical accessory for airway management procedures, helping ensure smoother and easier insertion of a nasopharyngeal airway.
